This portfolio contains mixed media sculpture. Some of the sculptures are in the round or free standing and some are in the form of relief or what I call relief mosaic because of the unconventional hybrid techniques I use to create them. I use combinations of a number of materials such as found objects, metal detecting detritus, stone, bone, glass, glass frit, steel, acrylic, acrylic paint, epoxy adhesive, epoxy resin, mica powder, coal, coal ash, anthracite detritus and antiques to create these sculptures.
